What is Bright Data?
Bright Data is an Israel-based web data platform, one of the oldest and largest vendors in the proxy and scraping market. Every network supports country, city, state, ZIP, and ASN targeting, plus sticky or rotating sessions over HTTP/S and SOCKS5.
On top of that infrastructure Bright Data layers managed data products. The Web Unlocker takes a URL and returns clean HTML while handling CAPTCHAs, bot managers like Akamai, and proxy rotation for you. The SERP API returns structured results from Google, Bing, and other engines as JSON or HTML.
The Scraping Browser, or Browser API, hands you a remote stealth browser compatible with Puppeteer and Playwright for JavaScript-heavy targets. How Bright Data works
Setup starts in the control panel, where you create a zone for each product you want: residential proxies, Web Unlocker, SERP API, and so on.
