Replit Pricing 2026: Every Plan, Agent Usage and Real Monthly Cost
Key facts4 plans compared: Starter, Core, Pro, Enterprise
  • Updated: October 14, 2026
  • Prices as of: October 2026
  • 4 plans compared: Starter, Core, Pro, Enterprise
  • Starter (best for: Trying Agent on one small project): Free
  • Core (best for: One builder shipping real apps): $20/mo, or $18/mo billed annually
  • Pro (best for: A small team or heavy Agent use): $100/mo, or $90/mo billed annually
  • Enterprise (best for: SSO and security review): Custom quote

Replit Core costs $20/mo and Replit Pro costs $100/mo, verified on Replit's pricing page in October 2026. Each plan comes with monthly credits worth its own price, and Agent work and published apps both spend those credits. Once they run out, usage bills on top, so the sticker is only the floor.

Replit is a browser-based platform where an AI Agent writes the app, then hosts it and stores its data in the same account. That makes it simpler to start than stitching together a code generator, a host and a database, and harder to budget, because three kinds of spend share one balance.

Toolradar data: the AI coding ranking evaluated 155 tools, updated October 2026, and the directory record for this platform is Replit on Toolradar. The product verdict lives in our Replit review, so this page sticks to the bill.

Plan Price Best for What changes the bill
Starter Free Trying Agent on one small project Daily Agent credits with a monthly cap, one published app that goes down after 30 days
Core $20/mo, or $18/mo billed annually One builder shipping real apps Monthly credits equal to the price, then usage-based billing
Pro $100/mo, or $90/mo billed annually A small team or heavy Agent use Credits equal to the price, 10 parallel agents, up to 15 collaborators
Enterprise Custom quote SSO and security review Sales, not checkout

How much does Replit cost per plan?

Core is the plan most people mean when they ask about Replit pricing. The plan includes Full build, Plan Mode, connectors, unlimited published apps and up to 5 builders in the workspace, plus monthly credits equal to the price. The annual rate of $18/mo saves $24 a year, which is worth taking only after a month or two proves you will keep building.

Pro suits a different buyer, since it adds 10 parallel agents, up to 15 collaborators, premium support and database rollback of up to 28 days, and the credit allowance rises to match its price. Pro credits roll over for two months. A solo developer who rarely spends the Core credits has no reason to pay five times the price, while a team that keeps hitting the ceiling gets a bigger pool and shared budget controls.

Enterprise has no public price, and Replit lists SSO and SAML, custom seat limits, single-tenant environments and static outbound IPs, which makes it the plan for a security review rather than a credit card.

Prices exclude tax, which depends on your location.

Is Replit free?

Yes, Starter costs nothing. It gives you daily Agent credits that reset each day up to a monthly cap, Lite build for quick edits, and some monthly credit for production databases, storage and publishing. It also gives you one published app, which is taken down after 30 days and carries a "Made with Replit" badge.

That is enough to see whether the workflow suits you, and not enough to run anything for a customer. The 30-day expiry is the real limit: a free app you want to keep needs Core, where publishing is unlimited and the badge comes off.

How does Replit Agent effort-based pricing work?

Agent bills by effort rather than by token, so each request ends in one checkpoint, and a bug fix costs less than a full feature or integration, which Replit bundles into a single larger checkpoint. Replit shows the cost of each checkpoint in the Agent tab, and asks you to confirm before a paid action starts.

Three modes set how fast the balance drains. Free Mode covers everyday chat and building within an allowance, and Core includes up to 30 hours of chat and up to 60 projects in it. Power Mode is the balanced paid option, and Max Mode uses the strongest models for large codebases and hard problems. Power and Max both draw on your monthly credits.

Replit publishes no dollar price per checkpoint, so you cannot compute an Agent bill from the docs alone. That matters if you came here after a runaway-bill thread: the safe habit is to start in Free Mode and use Plan Mode to scope work, because planning reasoning in the paid path can itself be billable, and to read the cost on each checkpoint before sending the next prompt. Agent features that call outside AI services, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini image models, are billed at the provider's public API rate out of the same credits.

How much does Replit hosting and publishing cost?

Publishing costs come out of the same monthly credits as Agent work, and you pay usage fees only after the credits are gone. That is why a modest app can look free on Core: the credits absorb it before the invoice moves.

Replit's publishing costs page prices four deployment types:

Deployment type Price Suits
Static Free hosting, $0.05 per GiB of data transfer Docs sites, portfolios, single-page apps
Autoscale $0.60 per million compute units and $0.40 per million requests, plus a small monthly base fee Web apps and APIs with uneven traffic
Scheduled $0.60 per million compute units, scheduler free Background jobs
Reserved VM $15/mo for 0.5 vCPU and 2 GB RAM, then $35, $50 and $130 for dedicated 1, 2 and 4 vCPU machines Steady traffic and guaranteed resources

Autoscale is the cheap one for a small app because it bills only while a request is being served and goes idle after 15 minutes. Replit's own examples put a small business site at about $2.39 a month and a 10,000-calls-a-day API at about $4.50. Reserved VMs are for apps that must stay warm, and a dedicated machine alone costs more than the Core plan.

Production databases bill on compute hours and peak storage, and development databases are free. App Storage is $0.015 per GiB a month with $0.05 per GiB of transfer.

Replit cut cloud prices on August 1, 2026, with Autoscale compute dropping from $3.20 to $0.60 per million units, outbound transfer from $0.10 to $0.05 per GiB and database storage from $1.50 to $0.35 per GiB. If you read an older Replit pricing post, its hosting numbers are now several times too high.

What does Replit really cost a month?

These scenarios use only the plan prices and the publishing rates above. Agent spend is the unknown, so each row shows the bill before any Agent work beyond the included credits.

Scenario Plan and setup Monthly bill
Weekend prototype Starter, one 30-day published app $0
Solo builder, one small app Core with Autoscale hosting The Core price, with hosting absorbed by the credits
Always-on app, light Agent use Core plus a $15 shared Reserved VM The Core price, because the VM uses $15 of the credits
Always-on app, bigger server Core plus a $35 dedicated Reserved VM $35 before any Agent work
Three-person team Pro, no per-seat fee The Pro price, or the annual rate if you commit

The second-to-last row is the one that surprises people. A $35 dedicated machine exceeds the monthly credit by $15, so the bill is $35 with zero Agent prompts, and every prompt after that is extra. Computed figure: a three-person team pays five times as much on Pro as on Core, though Core only fits if the group stays within 5 builders and one credit balance.

Credit packs are the top-up route when a heavy month runs past your balance. They come in $100, $300, $500 and $1,000 sizes at $100, $290, $480 and $950, they expire after six months, and they do not renew.

How do I stop a surprise Replit bill?

Set a limit before the first paid prompt. In Settings you can cap usage beyond your monthly credits, and when the cap is reached usage-based services are blocked until the next cycle or until you raise it. Setting the limit to $0.01 keeps spending inside credit packs you have already bought, which suits anyone who wants a hard ceiling.

A usage page shows spend by project and resource, and usage can take up to 30 minutes to appear. On organizations, budgets are set in $500 increments. Pair a limit with Plan Mode and Free Mode, and the cost stops being a surprise.

Replit vs Lovable, Bolt and v0: entry prices

The cheapest way to compare is the first paid plan. Prices below were read on each vendor's own pricing page in October 2026.

Tool Free tier First paid plan What the plan buys
Replit Starter, daily Agent credits Core, $20/mo Credits equal to the price, hosting and storage in one bill
Lovable 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month Pro, from $25/mo 100 credits a month, no cap on workspace members
Bolt 1M tokens a month, 300K a day Pro, $25/mo 10M tokens to start, rollover, custom domains
v0 7 messages a day Plus, $30/user/mo $30 of monthly credits per user

Replit is the cheapest first paid plan on the table, and the only one that bundles hosting and a database into the same credits. The catch is on the team side: Bolt Teams and v0 Plus are $30 per member, so three people cost $90 there, close to Replit Pro's price but with separate allowances. Lovable bills by credits, not by seats, so a full workspace shares one balance. Our Lovable review covers that model, and vibe coding tools ranks the whole group.

If hosting is the part you would rather buy separately, price it against Vercel, the serverless platforms or a VPS for developers. If you want a code editor with agents and not an app builder, compare the Cursor pricing and Claude Code pricing pages instead. For a wider shortlist, see AI app development platforms, and the directory records for Lovable and v0 sit on Toolradar.

Is Replit worth paying for?

Pay for Core when you want the app live this week and are comfortable with a balance that moves. Stay on Starter until a project is worth keeping online past 30 days. Move to Pro only when you have a team that needs shared credits, parallel agents or rollover, because that is what the extra money buys.

Skip Replit if a fixed monthly cost matters more than convenience. A credit balance that pays for prompts, servers and databases together cannot be forecast like a flat seat, and the lack of a published per-checkpoint price makes it harder still.

How we checked these prices

Louis Corneloup, founder of Dupple and Toolradar, wrote this breakdown. Replit figures were read in October 2026 on its pricing page, the AI billing doc, the Core, Pro and Starter plan docs, Managing your spend, Agent modes, publishing and database billing, App Storage billing and the August 2026 cloud price update.

Competitor figures come from Lovable's subscription plans doc and pricing page, Bolt and v0. The 155 tool count is from Toolradar's live AI coding ranking that month. Scenario totals are our arithmetic on those published prices, not a measured bill. More on how we publish is on the Devshot about page.

FAQ

How much does Replit cost in 2026?

Starter is free, Core is $20/mo or $18/mo billed annually, and Pro is $100/mo or $90/mo billed annually. Enterprise is a custom quote, while Core and Pro each include monthly credits worth the plan price, and Agent work, publishing and databases all draw on them. Prices are verified on Replit's pricing page in October 2026 and exclude tax.

Is Replit free?

Yes, the Starter plan is free and includes daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap and Lite build. It allows one published app, which goes down after 30 days. Free Mode also exists inside Core and Pro as an allowance for everyday chat and building.

How does Replit Agent pricing work?

Agent uses effort-based pricing: each request produces one checkpoint, and simple fixes cost less than full features. Free Mode is no-cost within an allowance, and Power and Max modes use paid credits. Replit asks you to confirm before a paid action starts and publishes no dollar price per checkpoint.

How much does Replit hosting cost?

Static hosting is free with a $0.05 per GiB transfer fee, Autoscale bills compute and requests as used, and a shared Reserved VM is $15/mo. Hosting spends your monthly credits first, so a small app often adds nothing to a Core bill. Cloud prices dropped on August 1, 2026.

What is the difference between Replit Core and Pro?

Core is the entry paid plan for one builder's workflow with up to 5 collaborators. Pro has 10 parallel agents, up to 15 collaborators, premium support, 28-day database rollback and two-month credit rollover. Both include the paid Agent modes, and Pro raises the credit pool and team limits.

Is Replit cheaper than Lovable or Bolt?

At the first paid plan, yes: Core undercuts the $25 that Lovable Pro and Bolt Pro both charge. For teams it depends, since Bolt Teams is $30 per member, so three seats are $90, and Replit Pro is $100 with no seat fees. Replit also bundles hosting and a database into its credits.

Can I cap my Replit spending?

Yes. You can set a usage limit that blocks usage-based services once it is reached, and a limit of $0.01 restricts you to credit packs you have already bought. Usage alerts and a spending dashboard help you watch the balance.
